Here at Superior Family Chiropractic we love to help moms at all stages of pregnancy from preconception, through the postpartum phase. Many moms that receive chiropractic care with their current pregnancy, report drastic improvements in their labor and delivery experience.

The goal of the Webster Technique is to balance the tension in the joints, muscles and ligaments of the pelvis.

Through a very gentle and specific hands-on approach, adjustments work to restore balance in a child's body. Using a variety of low-force adjusting techniques, normal motion is maintained in the joints throughout the spine. This removes any nerve irritation or interference that may be occurring as the child is growing.

Chiropractic adjustments are a very gentle and specific controlled force applied to a joint to restore proper function and mobility. Physical, chemical, and emotional stresses due to daily life or injury can negatively impact your spine and other joints. These changes impact the nervous system and other tissues in the body. Left unresolved, these issues can make you more susceptible to chronic problems. Chiropractic care can reduce pain, increase movement, and improve quality of life.

X-rays serve as a valuable diagnostic tool which allows chiropractors to be much more specific and elimate the guesswork. They can show exactly what is happening within the body in terms of alignment and structure, as well as identifying other types of issues that might call for a different adjustment style or type of care.

RockTape is a specialized kinesiology tape designed to help you recover from injuries and prevent new ones by boosting blood flow and drainage. This support speeds up healing while encouraging better posture and decreasing muscle fatigue or swelling. It works well for back pain, foot issues, joint discomfort, or common pregnancy aches. With this flexible tape, you can manage sprains and strains while still staying active and mobile.

As a part of our initial examination, spinal thermography is used to evaluate the autonomic component of vertebral subluxation. This data helps determine which areas to focus on as potential areas of neural imbalances or “hot spots”. This non-invasive scan is easy to use in charting the progress of your care.
